At Birch Point you will rediscover nature. Famous for its bald eagle population, Cobscook Bay also is home to loons, ducks, sandpipers, coot, and terns. A birder spotted over 100 birds one foggy week last summer. Wildlife such as moose, deer, rabbits, and foxes may also be seen; and since Cobscook Bay has some of the highest and lowest tides in the world, a kayaker might see a seal or two soaking up the sun on the low tide ledges.
